FROU FROU®

In the year of 1950, Martin Clement Ng, the first generation of Jewelers in the family crafted the first Crown Solitaire inspired by the Royal British Crowns back in the earlier days when Malaysia was under British Straits Settlement.

In 1974, Jude Ng, the second son in the family started learning the fine artistry of jewellery making and further improved the designs of Crown Solitaire with a fervent commitment to handcrafted excellence.  Jude’s phenomenal talent was clearly portrayed when he sophisticated the Crown Solitaires with a variety of designs and amassed them under the Crown Collection to appease his insatiable virtuosity. His creations are truly masterpieces where inspiration meets technical prowess.

The mystical beauty of the Crown Solitaire is its minimalist timeless appeal when viewed from top, yet beautifully handcrafted as one views from its profile. The Crown Solitaire collection is now the most recognizable engagement ring designs of FROU FROU® and is highly celebrated by its clientele.

Today, we are one of the very few Jewellers in Asia who still instils the timeless beauty of European Fine Jewellery into the practicability of Jewellery wearing for modern living. The Crest of the Maison—Crown Solitaire, is what represents the family’s legacy for nearly 70 years and for many generations to come.
